Product Introduction
The mounting distance may change during machine testing or installation. With an adjustable focus line laser module, the operator can set the line focus directly on the actual working surface.
Rotate the front focus ring until the line reaches the required clarity and width. Lock the setting after the result is confirmed.
Why Adjustable Focus?
The final laser position is not always fixed during the first machine test.
The mounting bracket may move. The material height may change. Two machines with the same design may also have a small difference in installation distance.
An adjustable focus model leaves room for these changes. Install the module first, project the line onto the real material, and adjust the focus directly on the machine.
This structure is useful for prototype testing, on-site setup and replacement projects.

What Does the Focus Ring Adjust?
Line Clarity
An out-of-focus line looks blurred. Rotate the focus ring slowly until the full line becomes clear at the target distance.
Line Width
The projected line normally becomes wider when it is out of focus. Correct focusing gives a cleaner positioning reference.
Actual Working Surface
Focus Adjustment and Fan Angle
Focus adjustment changes line clarity and width. It does not change the optical fan angle.
The fan angle and working distance determine the approximate line length. At the same distance, a larger fan angle produces a longer line.
When asking for a model, please send us both the working distance and the required line length.
Product Structure Overview
Compact Model
The compact Φ12×45mm housing is suitable for equipment with limited installation space. The front section includes the focus structure and optical lens. The rear section contains the driver circuit and cable outlet.
Larger Model
The Φ20×90mm version provides more internal space for the optical unit and driver circuit. It also uses a separate focus ring and locking ring, making focus adjustment and fixing easier during installation.
